West Midlands Womens Voice, in conversation with Dr Helen Pankhurst

Something we are sure you are aware of already, SimkissGuy’s Co-Founder and Managing Director Rebecca Simkiss is a huge supporter of many key city-initiatives. One you are likely to be hearing a lot about over the next few weeks is West Midlands Women’s Voice (WMWV).
In anticipation of #InternationalWomensDay on 8th March, WMWV is hosting a day of inspirational panel events, speaker sessions and workshops on 6th March at The Custard Factory. The event will bring together women and men alike to honour the role of women in the past and present political landscape, as well as the civilian emergency services, sports, arts, culture and the armed forces.
WMWV will be joined by incredibly inspirational and iconic guest speakers such as Dr Helen Pankhurst CBE – Helen is the great-granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst and granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst, leaders of the British suffragette movement, and was involved in the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. We will also be joined by CEO of the Fawcett Society, Sam Smethers, Mayor Andy Street and a number of local politicians.
This is a FREE full day event and here is where you can book or choose which conversation you take part in.
All are welcome to attend the event so please share with your colleagues. We very much look forward to seeing you there!
