As a senior professional in this business, in a brand new position which you can truly create as your own, you will have the responsibility of growing the sales department, so must have extensive knowledge of the property market in central Birmingham and the surrounding areas. You will have a passion for property sales and will thrive in a unique opportunity to grow and establish your sales division, as well as then inspiring, managing, training and testing your Sales Consultants at all times.
As a senior leader in this business, you will set clear standards of excellence in all you do, supporting and guiding junior members of the wider business, whilst working and liaising with your senior team colleagues and representing the Sales department at senior leadership meetings.
You will conduct daily meetings to manage and coordinate workloads, delegating work to your team to empower and develop whilst also ensuring that sales targets are being set and achieved. You will be responsible for ensuring the transactions of your team run smoothly and be on hand to suggest innovative ideas to issues that may occur, encouraging creative solutions.
You will be a skilled sales professional, using your property market intelligence to feed into marketing plans, as well as building strong relationships with other external partners such as solicitors and mortgage advisors in order to generate a strong referral network. You will create sales division and board reports, conduct annual appraisals, handle any team challenges, oversee the website and software functionality and ensure that all tools and resources are being used by your team to achieve maximum success of the sales division.
You will be an accomplished property sales professional, able to demonstrate leadership and people management skills, with tenacity, ambition and drive, but still committed to your own continuous professional development. You will relish a new challenge, and have a desire to really build something that will be a successful new venture of an well-respected business. You will be proud of the work you do, making time to talk to the CEO to discuss any interesting projects, challenges, staffing issues and anything else that is worth talking about.
