We have an exciting opportunity for Business Development Executive to join an established financial services firm, based in Birmingham but with a remit that covers the Birmingham and Worcester office locations.

Working closely with the Regional Sales Director, Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping the firm achieve its ambitious growth plans through identifying the key new business areas, driving sales activity, attending events and arranging meetings. Utilising your excellent communication skills and drive to hit targets, you will be responsible for maximising warm lead activity across the business, through calls, meetings, attending events, social media and email, in order to support with business development campaigns, tracking all information on the MS Dynamics CRM system.

Proactive in your approach, this wide-ranging role will see you being accountable for sourcing new client opportunities, developing strong relationships, creating pitch and new client proposal documents, building relationships and arranging and attending new client meetings.

Being of graduate calibre, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar B2B business development role and have demonstrable sales and marketing experience in dealing with variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will ideally have knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, great general IT skills, along with outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills. As a team player with the desire to truly make a difference, you must have the willingness to work flexible hours when required, utilising your ability to react and prioritise your workload accordingly.
