We have an exciting opportunity for Business Development Executive to join an established boutique financial services firm, based in stunning central Birmingham offices.

Working closely with the wider sales team and Business Development Managers, you will play a crucial role in helping the firm achieve its ambitious growth plans through proactively identifying the key new business areas, driving telephone based sales activity from an existing database of key partners.

Utilising your excellent written and verbal communication skills and drive to hit targets, you will be responsible for maximising warm lead activity across the business, through introductory calls, sending follow up presentation of products information, and scheduling follow up calls to further build new business relationships prior to handing over to the Business Development team for follow up. With an organised and strategic approach to telephoning new business, you will introduce business development campaigns, tracking all information on the internal CRM system.

Being of graduate calibre, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar B2B telephone based business development role and have demonstrable sales and marketing experience in dealing with variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent attention to detail, and an understanding that successful sales is as much about listening as speaking. You will have great general IT skills, along with outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and negotiation skills.
