We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Part-Time Grants Administrator to join this well-respected charitable trust based in Birmingham City Centre.
Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm, in this exciting operational role you will be tasked with overseeing the entire day to day coordination and administrative processes for this leading charitable trust, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Working with high volumes of trusts and grant documents, as well as other financial and funding application data, you will review and process all grant applications for this project, managing the process from application queries through to final grant awards. You will be the first point of contact on behalf of the charitable trust for the grant making process, and using your excellent communication and relationship building skills you will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
In this rewarding and varied part-time opportunity, in a brand new role you can create as your own, you will provide extensive administrative support to the range of high-profile associated projects and events that this organisation also delivers, taking strategy from the management team and creating plans to ensure that activity is delivered effectively, to process and within agreed timescales. A hands on operational role, you will support with senior administrative duties, including arranging and attending meetings, creating a wide range of extensive excel spreadsheets to track applications, and prepare finance and board packs.
For this exciting and challenging role, you will need to have excellent operational, project coordination and administrative experience, ideally from a grant making charitable organisation with strict operational processes, or regulated industry such as financial services. With a real “roll your sleeves up” attitude, you will be flexible in your approach and happily turn your hand to anything that needs your attention in this niche organisation. You will be pro-active, professional and have outstanding attention to detail, along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and be skilled at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
