We have a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join this market-leading and progressive global organisation, based in beautiful Birmingham City Centre Offices.
In this rewarding and challenging opportunity, you will be providing full coordination and administration support to a dedicated team of field-based Account Managers, acting as their main point of contact within the office. With an innately positive and friendly nature, you will speak to customers and build relationships with ease, qualifying sales leads and organising meetings for the Account Managers, as well as analysing existing and lapsed customer needs. Always thinking one step ahead, you will monitor the sales pipeline and make sure your Account Managers have everything they need to convert leads into sales whilst still ensuring each and every client receives outstanding service at all times.
Working in this fast-paced and dynamic position, you will develop and strengthen relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and architects, regularly updating and maintaining the CRM system, ensuring all account records are accurate and informative. Working alongside the field-based Account Managers, you will assist them in reaching and exceeding their sales targets and KPIs, supporting with project development and identifying key decision makers.
This is a truly varied role, which will also see you assisting the regional Account Managers with the quick turnaround of sales opportunities, such as quotations and pricing requests from customers, as well as dealing with customer enquiries in a speedy and helpful manner. You will organise and participate in weekly telephone calls with field-based Account Managers, prioritising the upcoming weekly activities, as well as discussing identified opportunities from research to determine which projects need to be developed and progressed.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong experience in a similar internal sales/coordination position and have an excellent telephone manner. With outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a fantastic work ethic, you will be a real team player who loves to go the extra mile for your customers. The ability to be resilient under pressure is key, along with outstanding analytical skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
