We have an outstanding part-time opportunity for a Personal Injury Legal Secretary to join an impressive law firm based in central Birmingham.
In this fantastic part-time opportunity, you will be dealing with the preparation of client correspondence and case documentations, maintaining hard copy client files and ensuring all documents and managed and archived accurately. As Legal Secretary within the Personal Injury team, you will be responsible for monthly client billing, making amendments and proof-reading documents on a regular basis, alongside any other ad hoc duties, such as organising and participating in team and office social events, when required.
Working between 20 and 25 hours each week, you will be providing full administrative and organisational support to the firm’s fee earners, ensuring the everyday secretarial operations of the departments flows smoothly. You will have the responsibility of managing multiple busy electronic diaries, building relationships with multiple stakeholders to coordinate internal and external meetings, creating varied client correspondence, and acting as the first point of contact for clients.
You will be an experienced and organised Legal Secretary and an accomplished administrator, with the desire to take the next step in your career within law. With excellent typing speeds, strong IT skills, outstanding organisational skills and an amazing eye for detail, this is a role that truly suits your skillset. Previous experience of using legal case management systems is essential, as well using Big Hand for dictation. With a confident and flexible approach, and a high degree of initiative, you will bring lots of enthusiasm to this exciting and varied role.
