Meticulous Office Manager

Are you an experienced and hardworking Office Manager, with excellent multi-tasking skills? Would you thrive in a high-pressure role that asks you to juggle multiple responsibilities? We have a fantastic opportunity for a diligent and proactive Office Manager to join this well-respected sports and leisure membership organisation, based just outside Birmingham City Centre.

In this rewarding and varied permanent role, you will be responsible for administering all central functions of this prestigious organisation. You will assist with membership management and coordination, including utilising a bespoke membership CRM database system, issuing invoices to members and liaising with key internal stakeholders regarding the distribution of key organisational information. In this exciting opportunity, you will also assist with the scheduling and administration of various internal meetings, including the AGM and any EGMs, as well as regular departmental meetings. Liaising with stakeholders at all levels, you will produce reports and agendas for key meetings and log and track follow up actions accordingly.

As the Office Manager for this busy and successful sports and leisure organisation, you will act as a central point of contact for all incoming telephone and e-mail enquiries for members and the general public, so a professional manner and approach will be crucial. In this truly varied and fast-paced role, you will help with the driving of sales in membership and support marketing processes, by building and managing relationships with both new and existing members. You will be responsible for producing a range of reports, newsletters and publications, as well as regularly updating the website with events, competitions and updates.

In a pressurised and rewarding role that will keep you on your toes, you will assist with administrative duties to help ensure the office runs smoothly. You will make sure stock and stationery levels are maintained at all times, logging and tracking internal employee information accurately and ensuring the relevant systems are in place to file and retrieve records, documents and reports efficiently. Alongside this, you will handle and monitor petty cash, and assist with general administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning and archiving when required.

For this fantastic Office Manager opportunity, you will need to have a minimum of five years’ senior administration experience, particularly with a focus on membership engagement management. Due to the nature of this organisation’s line of work, a strong interest in sports and leisure is vital, along with a bright and hardworking attitude in all that you undertake. You will need to be a confident individual who is comfortable both managing your own workload and working effectively within a close-knit team. Previous experience with using bespoke CRM software systems, particularly those used in the sports and leisure industry will be advantageous.
