As a vital part of the business, you will provide full administrative and organisational support to the Fee Earner and wider team, ensuring the everyday operations of the department flows smoothly. On a day-to-day basis you will be opening post, copy and audio typing documents, opening and closing case files, creating invoices, co9nductng searches and creating varied client correspondence and complex legal documentation. Working closely with the Fee Earner, you will ensure ledger balances are dealt with in a timely way, and in line with SRA rules.

In this truly fast-paced role, you will have the responsibility of managing multiple busy electronic diaries and building effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. As the first point of contact for clients, you will be dealing managing and resolving queries and requests in a professional manner, always projecting a positive and professional image of the firm. You will respond to emails, arrange and attend a wide range of meetings, ensure that the filing system is updated, and provide any other support as required.

You will be a diligent and proactive Legal Secretary / Administrator with around three years’ experience in a similar role, and an accurate administrator, with the desire to take the next step and join a successful and ever-expanding law practice. With fantastic typing speeds, strong IT and Microsoft Word skills, outstanding organisational skills and an amazing eye for detail, this is a role that will always truly demand excellence.

With a “no task too big or too small” attitude, you will happily turn your hand to anything that is needed. Ideally, you will have experience with Family or Conveyancing Law, along with your ILEX or RSA II or III, however what is essential is a willingness to learn and previous legal secretarial experience is more important.
