We have a permanent opportunity for a Client Accounts Manager to join a high-profile property business, based in beautiful modern offices in the heart of the Birmingham Business District.

Working closely with the both the Lettings and Property Management teams across a couple of offices, you will play a key role in ensuring Landlords for your properties are paid on time each month, completing credit reconciliations and ensuring payments are issued within agreed timescales. With exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach, you will liaise with other members of the accounts team regularly, working together to make sure all regular payment uploads are made, rents are processed, and regular reports are filed. You will be working extensively with Excel to maintain spreadsheets, ensuring all information is up-to-date and 100% accurate at all times.

Producing regular reports and audits, you will take a proactive approach to ensure deadlines are met, liaising with Landlords, tenants and other contractors and suppliers regularly to chase outstanding information as needed. With a client-focussed attitude and an immediately warm and engaging telephone manner, you will regularly liaise with clients to ensure all parties have received correct payments by cheque or credit card, building strong relationships over time. You will also support across the wider team with any internal or external questions or queries.

You will ideally have at least a years’ experience within a similar role within the property sector and have an understanding of accounting and financial software and applications. Naturally you will have excellent attention to detail and have strong IT skills, particularly regarding Microsoft Excel. Crucially, a logical and methodical approach to your work will be of utmost importance within this role.
