LoveBrum’s Big Brummie Bake Off – Baking a Better Birmingham, Together

Coronavirus has had an impact on almost every sector across the country and charities are no exception. In these unusual times, organisations have had to come up with new and innovative ways to continue to raise crucial funds and support the grassroots projects and demographics they serve.
Enter, the Big Brummie Bake Off 2020… as part of the charity’s incredibly successful OneBrum Campaign, this Saturday 11th July, the non-for-profit is asking bakers of all levels from across the city to join them virtually throughout the day and create a unique, Birmingham-inspired patisserie masterpiece (cakes, cookies, bread and scones all accepted!)
All the charity ask is for a donation in the form of a £10 entry fee, of which every penny will go directly to the causes and project’s LoveBrum supports. Each participant will receive a LoveBrum exclusive tea towel and expert baking tips landing straight in your inbox leading up to the event.
As the Big Brummie Bake Off is a virtual bake-of event, sadly due to the current circumstances they can only judge bakes on theme and presentation alone. So, share your creations with them on social media (or email if preferred) on Saturday 11th July using the hashtag #BigBrummieBakeOff to reveal your creations.
Winners will be decided on Sunday 12th and announced via social media, so keep your eyes peeled!
