Are you an empathetic and professionally accredited Debt Advisor who has experience in leading and motivating a team? Are you looking for a role where you can have a significant impact upon the wellbeing of others on a daily basis? We have an amazing opportunity to join an extremely respected, non-profit organisation as a Senior Debt Advisor, on a fully agile basis.
Working as part of a passionate, devoted team, this role will see you dividing your time between handling your own client calls and leading and supporting a dedicated team. On a daily basis, you will be working through a volume of calls, confidently providing detailed and complex debt advice to a variety of clients in the midst of difficult personal circumstances. With every call, your personable and empathetic approach will be second to none as you provide up to date and accurate money and debt advise. Extremely detail orientated, you will be able to stay mindful of legal limitations as you liaise with clients about their situations, while pulling together multiple strands of information and providing comprehensive support.
As a Senior Debt Advisor, you will also be supporting a team of Advisors, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver a quality service to all clients, constantly monitoring and evaluating the success of the programme and passing across feedback. Drawing on a wealth of Debt and Money Advise experience, you will offer coaching and training to your team of Advisors, handling regular evaluations and ensuring strong working relationships are developed and maintained. Leading by example, you will be calm under pressure and have an organised and methodical approach, ensuring all client records are updated and maintained with accuracy and that all paperwork is completed to audit requirements and standards.
In order to really hit the ground running, you will already have experience in and have successfully completed training in money advice from a MaPS accredited training provider e.g. IMA and Wiser Adviser. You will be naturally empathetic and comfortable liaising over the telephone with vulnerable clients and have a wide range of money advise knowledge. You will instinctively work collaboratively with your colleagues and have a minimum of a years’ worth of coaching or management experience. Most importantly, you will have the ability to think on your feet in a busy, energetic environment which will be both challenging and enormously rewarding.
In return you will receive a competitive salary and the opportunity to deliver important support that will make a real difference to your clients’ lives.
