Fantastic volunteering opportunities coming up with LoveBrum!

Stuck for fun activities to do this summer? Fancy doing something a bit different? Do you want to do some good, help out some amazing people and have fun – all at the same time? If you answered “Yes” to these questions, then LoveBrum has just the thing for you! LoveBrum will be attending two local festivals this summer, and they are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help them on their stalls for a few hours, in exchange for free entry at both festivals.
There are two fantastic, local festival that you can help out at this summer – on the 27th, 28th and 29th of July, there is the ever-growing and varied Lunar Festival, held at Umberslade Farm, just south of Birmingham. The unique festival is playing host to some exceptional artists this year, including Basement Jaxx and Goldfrapp to name but a few!
You’ll be able to enjoy Lunar’s 7 Elements – Listen, Learn, Move, Create, Taste, Relax and Laugh – which all add up to an incredible festival experience. From great music to different bars, workshops and food – it really is a fantastically varied festival! LoveBrum are looking for volunteers to spare 4 hours of their time on one of the days to help run the raffle stall, selling tickets to help raise money for LoveBrum’s worthy and often understated causes, as well as generally spreading the word about LoveBrum to festival goers!
The second festival that you can help support LoveBrum at is the Moseley Folk Festival, which returns August 31st – 2nd September to Moseley Park. One of the West Midland’s best loved festivals, there is a line-up of talented folk legends, including the Levellers and Teenage Fanclub, along with a diverse range of local food and drinks.
So, if you want to make a difference this summer, help support a local charity AND have a great day out, then get in touch with LoveBrum and ask about their volunteering opportunities!
