As Marketing and Communications Manager within this well-respected non-profit organisation, you will be responsible for managing the overall marketing, PR and communications activities for this charity. You will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering the overall digital and traditional marketing strategy, ensuring key messages are delivered at all times. In this exciting and varied role, you will be in charge of all editorial decision-making for this charity’s various publications, including the layout, content and design. You will act as the first point of contact for all media commitments on behalf of this impressive non-profit organisation, helping to deliver the relevant message to the media.

In this exceptional permanent opportunity, you will monitor monthly marketing spend, activity and budgets in line with ROI to ensure the commercial effectiveness of all marketing, PR and communications activity. You will also be responsible for the management, coaching and development of the marketing and communications teams, who are skilled at working across digital advertising, social media, PR, communications, events and content marketing. As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will relay important information on to other internal departments, including the fundraising team, the CEO and the team of trustees. You will also liaise with a wide range of external stakeholders on behalf of the charity.

You will be an experienced commercial marketing manager, and ideally have a degree in marketing or equivalent CIM or IDM qualification. You will have gained expert knowledge of various marketing strategies and tools and have a high level of commercial awareness to include budget management. Previous experience of liaising with the media is vital for this Marketing and Communications opportunity. With an analytical mindset, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong people management skills and ability to work cross-functionally to lead the team to success. Previous experience of working within the charity is desirable.
