As part of an established and close-knit team, you will oversee and manage the accounts function of this law firm, ensuring that processes and procedures are efficient. You will be processing client invoices, tracking payments, dealing with VAT and maintaining records for client files on the central database system to ensure they are compliant with Solicitors Accounts Rules.

With previous experience working within a legal environment, you will be producing regular reconciliations and liaising with a range of external stakeholders within the financial and accountancy sector. You will be ready to take the next step in your career within a thriving law firm, where you will be dealing with payroll, expenses and client ledgers.

Personality and a ‘no job too small’ attitude go a long way and are important in this team. Naturally, you will have strong IT skills, have amazing attention to detail and be a natural ‘numbers’ person.

You will be looking for an opportunity to use your initiative and have the ability to be one step ahead at all times. You will need to have at least ten years’ experience of working within a law firm, with at least five of those years in a management capacity. Ideally, you will have experience using Sage software packages.
