We have a lovely opportunity for a confident Manager to join a national venue group, based in Farnborough.
As Hospitality Operations Manager, you will be playing a crucial role in the long-term development and growth of this organisation, overseeing the recruitment and training of permanent and temporary members of staff in the catering and corporate hospitality department. Your role will involve ensuring all operational areas run smoothly and efficiently and that strict budget targets, KPIs and company procedures are met and adhered to at all times. You will be a natural at training and coaching, with an approachable demeanour and a flexible approach, supporting across front of house operations and back of house areas. You will also take responsibility for enforcing SOPs and applicable health and safety as well as fire safety procedures.
Your client management skills will be absolutely key to your success within this role which will see you delivering excellent service and building relationships with senior stakeholders. You will be responding to high volumes of general enquiries from staff and clients, so a warm and confident personality, alongside polished and articulate communication skills will be essential.
To succeed in this position, you will have previous experience working in a fast-paced role, ideally in a similar venue environment, with the ability to work under pressure and juggle priorities. A natural organiser with a great eye for detail, you will hold catering qualifications alongside a personal licence and possess minimum of Level 3 Food Hygiene and IOSHH certifications. You will be comfortable working with a variety of people, ensuring the organisation’s values and high standards are met, with a flexible approach, working evenings and weekends where needed to support the success of the operation.
