Are you a highly competent Accounts and Banking Administrator with a keen eye for detail? Would you be comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to work in the Finance department of a fast-developing organisation on a part-time basis, with hybrid working.

Working in a close knit team in this thriving firm, you will be responsible for completing weekly cash and card bank reconciliations, overseeing a turnover of £1bn. Liaising on a regular basis with banks and the internal audit team, you will resolve differences when identified, including missing payments or late payments, highlighting issues or areas of concern in weekly reports, so strong written and verbal communication skills paired with excellent attention to detail will be critical to your success.

Acting as a main point of contact for the organisation’s sites across the UK, you will organise secure collections of cash as required, answering any questions or queries that internal teams may have. You will be entering payments into a well-established accounting system and be responsible for ensuring all company payments are received, proactively chasing up missing amounts and using your initiative to resolve issues.

Methodical in your approach to work, you will be naturally analytical and able to structure and prioritise your workload. Strong Excel skills are crucial and good knowledge of banking or treasury will also be advantageous. Most importantly, you will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.

In return you will receive an excellent salary, great benefits, including the opportunity to work flexibly across the Solihull office and remotely, and to develop a career within a market-leading organisation that really look after their employees.
