We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking HR Administrator to join an internal HR and Recruitment team, working for an established and well regarded non-for-profit organisation, based in South Birmingham.
As a dedicated HR Administrator, you will be supporting the HR Administration Manager to ensure that all internal recruitment processes and administration procedures are completed effectively and within deadlines for the on-boarding of all new staff. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will liaise with all internal departments to understand new staffing requirements, creating job advertisements, compiling shortlists of potential candidates and coordinating interviews. Assisting with the on-boarding process, you will undertake reference checks, send out employment contracts, ensure that all identity and eligibility checks are completed, confirm start dates and be the main point of contact for both the new employee and the internal hiring manager throughout the entire process, ensuing crucial deadlines are met.
As an experienced HR and Recruitment Administrator, you will be responsible for managing central HR databases, handling highly confidential data and juggling L&D courses and training sessions, logging and tracking all information on internal databases with great accuracy. Dealing with departmental telephone and email enquiries, you will ensure all queries are answered promptly and efficiently, providing excellent service to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have fantastic communication skills, as well as the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing workloads, ensuing all deadlines are met.
Previous experience of working within an HR department is essential, ideally including experience of overseeing internal recruitment administration processes and procedures, alongside a confidence with using Microsoft Office packages. Working in a high-pressure environment, strong timekeeping skills and a willingness to go the extra-mile will also be important. CIPD qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential and opportunities to gain these alongside the role will be available to the successful candidate.
