The Venue Sales Account Manager will play a crucial role in this thriving team and be very much at the heart of the business, working across numerous departments. With proven skills in business development and relationship management, you will develop a strong understanding of the organisation’s extensive products and services in order to speak with clients about upcoming events, exhibitions and conferences. Making proactive outbound calls to clients, you will talk through their various options, ensuring all sales opportunities are maximised and logging and tracking all details with excellent attention to detail. With a solution driven approach, you will develop long-term relationships with ease, whilst also being a confident networker and comfortable negotiating sales.

Naturally, you will be highly motivated and tenacious individual, with a professional attitude who is used to working to and achieving revenue targets. You will thrive in client facing situations and presentations, with strong planning and organisational skills utilised whilst working under pressure in a very fast paced team. You will be adaptable, have a great team work ethic and a passion for the little details that mean you can deliver outstanding customer service. A no job too big or too small approach to your work will be an absolute must.

To succeed in this exciting opportunity, you will have at least a years’ experience as an Account Manager, with a strong sales background, ideally in conference and events. Most importantly, you will have a proactive approach and be confident speaking to clients on the telephone, making outbound calls and developing strong business relationships. Alongside this a great attitude, a desire to work hard and grow with an iconic business will be key to your success.
