We have a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and articulate Online Customer Support Advisor to join this well-respected education training provider, based on the outskirts of Birmingham.

In this varied and fast-paced position, you will be tasked with communicating with prospective customers who visit the company’s website, resolving any queries they may have through a live chat function. With a consultative and friendly manner, you will answer any questions about the organisation’s services, offering guidance and arranging for further conversations with the sales team. As an Online Customer Support Advisor, you will often follow up live chats by emailing additional information to potential customers about the courses on offer, referring as many customers as possible and generating leads for the dedicated sales team.

Providing excellent customer service at all times, you will need to be a highly skilled multitasker, as you will regularly be speaking to multiple potential customers at once. Working collaboratively with your colleagues, you will support with any administrative or coordination tasks needed, ensuring each customer receives the highest level of service and that all internal processes progress smoothly and seamlessly.

For this exciting and rewarding Online Customer Support Advisor opportunity, you will have a genuine passion for customer service and helping people, along with outstanding spelling and grammar. You will ideally have a minimum of 12 month’s experience in a similar online customer service or sales role. Fantastic attention to detail is also essential, along with excellent typing skills and a high level of IT literacy.

This role requires someone with a good level of flexibility, as it will see you working on a set shift pattern, which will include working until 7pm for four nights a week and on a reduced shift on Sunday’s from 10am – 5pm, in order to speak to customers outside of work.
