We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Business Development Manager to join a highly respected international law firm in a senior role that will see you traveling regularly across Midlands and Northern offices.

In this role, you will be key in the development of new prospective, collaborative relationships across the Midlands and the North West, and very much at the heart of the business. With extensive new business development experience at director and CEO level, you will have the ability to engage prospects strategically across your region. You will initiate, develop and manage multiple high level stakeholder relationships, identifying client referral opportunities and work closely with lawyers across the business to develop a pipeline of future business.

Collaborating with the wider Marketing team, you will oversee all marketing events across the region, including seminars, exhibitions and client hospitality, carefully managing and monitoring budgets. You will also act as a key point of contact across all divisions within the organisation, supporting the bids team with bids and tenders advice, creating marketing literature and client newsletters and working with the PR team to continuously support the growth of the brand across national and international profiles.

To succeed in this exciting new role, you will have 5 years of marketing experience within a professional services environment and ideally have CIM or equivalent qualifications. You will have outstanding presentation and communication skills with a consultative, solution driven approach. Regularly acting as an ambassador on behalf of the company, you be strategically minded and have gravitas for developing partnerships at senior stakeholder level.

This is a fast-paced role in an organisation committed to outstanding customer service, therefore strong relationship management skills will be crucial to your success, as well as a proactive approach to self learning. Working within an international organisation, flexibility with core hours will be required, as will the ability to travel on a national basis, regularly attending meetings across Midlands and North West based offices.
