We have a great new opportunity for a Sales Executive to join a forward-thinking energy company, with the option to work remotely for part of your week and the flexibility to set your own hours.

Playing a crucial role within this developing organisation, you will be working to support the wider SME sales team, ensuring there is a consistent pipeline of pre-qualified sales leads and appointments coming through into the business. Proactively identifying key new business areas, as well as opportunities for cross-selling within current client accounts, you will take responsibility for driving telephone-based sales, quickly building rapport to take the customer from an initial cold call through to booking in a face-to-face meeting.

Utilising your excellent written and verbal communication skills and drive to hit targets, you will be responsible for maximising lead activity across the business, through introductory calls, sending follow up presentation of products information, and scheduling follow up calls to further build new business relationships. With an organised and strategic approach to telephoning new business, you will ensure all new clients are on-boarded seamlessly, providing excellent customer service throughout.

Being of graduate calibre, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar B2B telephone-based role and have an SME sales background. Confident in your ability to build new relationships with ease, you will have demonstrable experience of dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively with a wider team. You will have excellent attention to detail, great general IT skills, along with outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and negotiation skills.
