We have a great new opportunity for a Sales Executive to join a forward-thinking energy company, based in central Leicester.
Playing a crucial role within this developing company, you will be working alongside a team of Sales Executives, ensuring a consistent pipeline of pre-qualified sales leads are coming into the business and taking responsibility for overseeing your own portfolio of clients. Proactively identifying key new business areas, from individual customers through to companies of varying sizes, you will take responsibility for driving telephone-based sales, quickly building rapport and developing long-term relationships to take customers from an initial cold call through to on-boarding as a new client.
Utilising your excellent written and verbal communication skills and drive to hit targets, you will be responsible for maximising lead activity across the business, through introductory calls, sending follow up presentation of products information, and scheduling follow up calls to further build new business relationships. With an organised and strategic approach to telephoning new business, you will ensure a consistent pipeline of new customers as well as developing strong relationships with current clients to maximise opportunities for them, tracking all information on the internal CRM system.
Being of graduate calibre, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar B2B or B2C telephone-based role and have a sales background, with a drive to hit and exceed targets. Confident in your ability to build new relationships with ease, you will have demonstrable experience of dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, liaising with customers directly as well as businesses of all sizes. You will have excellent attention to detail, great general IT skills, along with outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and negotiation skills.
