We have an exclusive part-time opportunity for a 1:1 Personal Assistant, working 15 – 20 hours a week, based near the Hereford/Wales border.

As Personal Assistant, you will be tasked with providing varied and essential support to a highly successful business owner, providing assistance across all areas of his professional and personal life. Juggling an array of responsibilities, you will manage a busy electronic diary, making a range of travel and accommodation arrangements when necessary. As this individual has multiple business interests across a range of sectors, you will need to be comfortable liaising with a diverse mix of stakeholders at all levels on his behalf, with a professional approach being essential.

In this truly varied and rewarding Personal Assistant opportunity, you will manage his timesheets and expenses relating to his business ventures and prepare and submit VAT returns, so previous experience of using accounting software such as Sage is essential. As his PA, you will also manage his various bank accounts and oversee all bookkeeping on his behalf, so exceptional attention to detail is vital for this exciting opportunity. You will liaise with external financial advisors regarding various issues, as well as paying a variety of bills on this business owner’s behalf.

As a 1:1 Personal Assistant, you will also assist with a range of administrative and secretarial responsibilities when necessary, including answering and filtering inbound calls and taking messages, and typing up and sending out correspondence to internal and external stakeholders. You will handle all paper and digital file archiving, complete any other ad hoc administrative tasks, such as photocopying and scanning.

For this exciting part-time opportunity based near the Hereford/Wales border, you will need to be an experienced and proactive Personal Assistant, with at least 5 years’ experience in an administrative role. With a professional approach, you will need to have an excellent telephone manner and be confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels. A degree of flexibility is required for this position, as you will be working from an office one day a week, with extra hours based remotely, depending on business demand.
