We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join an established national law firm, based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, with flexible home working.
In this crucial position, you will be supporting fee earners with all their administrative and secretarial requirements, including being actively involved in producing and planning complex documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations consistent with company style, format and layout. You will be managing, organising and attending internal and external meetings on behalf of your team, ensuring efficient diary management and be comfortable researching and providing key information to carry out analysis as requested.
With a professional and personable manner, you will be a first point of contact for your team and able to liaise extensively with internal and external stakeholders, upholding the firm’s values in all that you do. In this extremely varied opportunity, alongside your day-to-day PA duties, you will also be given the chance to assist with various marketing projects and to develop your creativity in doing so, providing additional resource to other departments when needed. Demonstrating excellent administrative skills, typing speeds in the region of 60wpm and strong MS Office with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you will be comfortable supporting in the preparation of high volumes of pitches and presentations.
You will have experience as a PA in a similar corporate role, with strong communication skills, the confidence to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to get things done and a flexible approach in order to juggle conflicting priorities and demands. You will have a demonstrable track record of working independently in a dynamic environment, proven ability to work discreetly with highly confidential material and an ability to adapt quickly to changing demands whilst maintaining a professional manner.
