We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Memberships Administrator to join this prestigious organisation, based in Birmingham City Centre.

As the Memberships Administrator you will play a pivotal role in this busy team and be very much at the heart of the organisation, overseeing everything to do with membership support, from day to day administration, through to the marketing of member events and promoting member specific content through social media. Acting as the first point of contact for new and existing members looking for ways to engage with the organisation, you will be proactive and approachable, ensuring a seamless service is delivered. Managing the company’s internal database, you will log and track all Member details, following up with enquiries, handling renewals and issuing invoices.

Confident using social media websites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, you will assist in managing the organisations online presence, as well as ensuing the website is updated regularly with news and upcoming events, always looking to attract and engage with new and existing members. Supporting with an array of internal events, you will liaise with a number of different departments to ensure that the administration of all events is completed in a timely manner, including managing mailing lists and following up with feedback forms afterwards to make sure you are always improving the membership offering.

A natural organiser, you will thrive with the challenge of juggling multiple priorities under pressure and within strict tight timescales. You will be adaptable, have a great team work ethic and a passion for the little details that mean you can deliver outstanding first-class customer service.

Strong, warm and engaging communication skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will be a real “people person” and as you liaise with stakeholders of all levels, you will have the ability to build relationships with ease. A no job too big or too small approach to your work will be an absolute must.

You will have solid administration and customer service experience, ideally within a busy and fast-paced environment and be happy to turn your hand to anything. Experience of taking minutes, working to strict deadlines and using Social Media and scheduling software such as Hootsuite and MailChimp will be advantageous. Alongside this, a great attitude, a desire to work hard and grow with an iconic organisation is absolutely crucial.
