The Sales and Events Coordinator will play a pivotal role within the hotels sales department, working with the wider conference and events team to deliver exceptional event experiences. With proven skills in sales and enquiry handling, you will be responsible for sending proposals, conducting show rounds and building relationship with existing and potential guests. You will develop a strong understanding of the hotels features and amenities and have confidence in your abilities to turn enquiries into contracted business. Collating final details for all events and producing function sheets, you will use your interpersonal skills to ensure all clients requirements are fully communicated to appropriate departments. Directing event setup, you will also liaise with suppliers, event and hotel staff before handing clients over to the operations team.

This would suit a naturally organised individual with a professional disposition who is used to working as part of a team to achieve targets and delivering exceptional service. You will be adaptable, have a great team work ethic and a passion for the little details.

To succeed in this exciting opportunity, you will have at least a years’ experience as a Sales and Events Coordinator, with a strong sales background and a good understanding of Meetings, Conference and Events. Most importantly, you will have a proactive approach and be confident speaking to clients on the telephone, making outbound calls and developing strong business relationships. Alongside this a great attitude, a desire to work hard and grow with an iconic business will be key to your success.
