Are you a proactive and hands on Office Manager, on the lookout for your next challenging role within an international organisation? We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join this well-regarded and thriving Law firm, based in Birmingham City Centre offices.

In this fast-paced and varied role, you will be tasked with ensuring that the daily operations within the firm run smoothly at all times. On a daily basis, you will be overseeing a team of support staff, working with an array of internal colleagues to ensure the adequate provision of PA support to Fee Earners as well as the necessary Front of House cover, managing holiday and sickness requests and helping with coordinating temporary support when needed.

Assuming responsibility for safety and facilities management, you will review and implement improved working practices across the organisation, reporting on performance and liaising directly with Senior Stakeholders. Working closely with the Finance and HR teams, you will play a key part in the recruitment of new staff, ensuring all company policies and processes are being followed during the recruitment process and coordinating inductions and training. This varied role will also see you working alongside the marketing department to plan, organise and attend events, ranging in scope and purpose from small meetings to client seminars.

For this exciting and challenging opportunity, you will need extensive experience in a similar office management position, ideally within a professional services environment. With outstanding organisational and administrative skills, you will need to be adept at using a variety of software, including Microsoft Excel and CRM databases. Experience of leading and overseeing support staff alongside managing client facing events would be highly desirable.
