In this unique position, you will lead, coach and guide the Client Development function to generate increased sales through new customer engagement, lead generation and project research. Working with SalesForce CRM on a daily basis as a “super user” you will ensure that the CRM is used by the team in order to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of a sales pipeline for the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Asia client markets.
As Sales Development Manager, you will manage the lead generation and new business development activities for the UKIMEA region, supporting your small but effective team by providing lead generation and sales data to ensure they direct their efforts in the most efficient and effective way, hitting all Key Performance Indicators, which drive increased sales for the business.
You will coach and develop you team, creating strategies to ensure consistency in approach through utilising excellent communication skills when talking to both external customers and multiple internal stakeholders. You will support the Sales Account Managers, managing smaller projects through to order as well as sending customer pricing quotes and helping ensure the sales pipeline is correct and up to date.
With extensive experience of Salesforce CRM, you will use your skills and knowledge to be a “super user”, resolving faults, queries, ad hoc questions, and incidents, as well as handling training queries and cleansing data. Working with Salesforce, you will support the sales team by creating and maintaining dashboards, marketing templates and creating reports that support sales leadership to drive the performance of the sales team and accuracy of the data. You will analyse performance to create actionable insights to improve sales, and be a key partner for the Heads of Sales and sales management across UK, Ireland, Middle East and Asia regions in their quarterly and annual ‘go to market’ planning.
You will have in depth and extensive experience of working within SalesForce, as well as an analytical approach, excellent general IT, BI and excel skills, with advanced reporting and dashboard creation abilities. A natural leader, you will have strong experience of leading and coaching a team of internal sales / lead generators or customer developers as well as acting as a personal contributor. With an excellent ability to communicate at all levels, you will have experience of supporting a wide range of internal and external multi-influencers in a business to business sales environment.
