As a Sales Executive, you will be crucial in the long term development of this organisation, your role will involve promoting and selling conference and banqueting venues within an extensive hire portfolio, visiting new and potential clients and building long term relationships.

Your client management skills will be absolutely key to you success within this role, promoting your multiple sites across Birmingham, ensuring you provide an un-paralleled conference and banqueting service at all times. You will respond to all general enquiry calls from clients; so a warm and confident personality, alongside polished and articulate communication skills is essential. You will need to always be one step ahead of the game, generating leads to proactively follow up on, ensuring you achieve sales targets.

You will be provided with the opportunity to implement your excellent administration skills as you ensure all records are accurately maintained. You will manage the costing and budgeting of events for your array of clients, ensuring the most comprehensive service is provided from start to finish, building relationships with external suppliers in the process. Crucially, you will ensure all health and safety regulations are consistently met, coordinating and organising your staff to deliver successful events. As well as creating invoices and cash handling, you will assist the office with general administrative tasks, and have a real no job too big or too small attitude to your role.

You will have previous experience working in a fast paced sales role, ideally in a similar venue hire environment, with the ability to work under pressure. You will have previously led teams to organise and deliver successful large corporate events, and have proven experience delivering against targets. You will be comfortable working with a variety of people, ensuring the firms values are represented with every encounter you have with customers. You will have a full driving license, with your own transport to travel to multiple sites around the West Midlands alongside a real desire to develop and progress in this unique position.
