We have an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Consultant to join this prestigious business, based in their South Birmingham Head Office.

Working in a friendly and supportive team, who all love what they do, as a Lettings Consultant you take responsibility for the entire process of letting properties to appropriately qualified applicants, ensuring that communication is maintained with all prospective tenants and landlords throughout. From first enquiry through to agreement of tenancy and handing over of keys, you will provide the highest level of service, logging and tracking all details on internal systems with accuracy.

You will monitor the applicant database daily and successfully match qualified applicants to the right properties, taking ownership of the relationship with your prospective tenants to qualify, book and conduct viewings – both physical and virtual – for these applicants. You will have the autonomy to manage your diary effectively and responsibly, using common sense to factor in travel around central Birmingham, as well as administration time for each viewing.

Working for both the very best interests of your tenant and landlord, you will use your fantastic communication skills to negotiate the best lettings contracts, using your excellent administration and attention to detail in order to update all internal databases effectively and accurately with full contract details, including price and any special conditions so that the holding deposit can be processed, ensuring a seamless delivery of the customer experience.

Target driven, keen to excel, with bags of enthusiasm and initiative, you will be looking to embrace a new challenge, be proactive, open to change and ready to hit the ground running in a varied and interesting opportunity.

Spending your time out of the office conducting viewings, you will have great knowledge of central and South Birmingham and enjoy being out and about around the city, whilst remaining in close contact with your colleagues across offices. You will be looking to excel in a sales-based role, and be career minded with a desire to grow personally and professionally whilst being part of a high performing business. You will ideally have experience of working as a Lettings Negotiator or wider property experience, with a genuine passion and knowledge of the sector.
