We have an exciting opportunity for a home-based Financial Services Relationship Manager to join a well-established and leading financial services provider, within commuting distance of Harrogate.

Joining the Intermediary Sales Team within this thriving organisation, your key daily responsibilities will include maintaining and developing strong business relationships with the objective of delivering quality mortgage leads from key partner and 3rd party introducers. You will be crucial in the development of prospective, collaborative new mortgage business relationships, working closely with brokers and intermediaries.

With extensive business development and relationship management experience, you will have the ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels confidently and manage multiple high-level relationships, whilst also identifying new business opportunities effectively and efficiently. You will be a natural communicator, able to juggle numerous priorities and be passionate about providing the highest level of service, ensuring a smooth process for all involved parties. Utilising your excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels, you will represent the organisation at a variety of events, seminars and conferences around the region, so a car and driving license will be essential.

Being the external face of the organisation, you will effectively manage and develop designated territories covering the North East and Yorkshire, along with researching, identifying and securing new long-term strategic partnerships, maximising relationships and opportunities with your outstanding relationship building skills.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have a minimum of two years’ experience in the intermediary mortgage market and have a proven sales management and business development track record. A CeMAP qualification is desirable, alongside a high degree of analytical skill to enable you to fully research all aspects of the market and an understanding of the relevant trade bodies.
