We have an exciting opportunity in an expanding national consultancy for a determined Business Development Manager, based at home with bi-weekly meetings that require travel into London and around the UK if required.
Working within the partnerships division of this exciting and market leading organisation, you will be responsible for the introduction of this new and unique tech product to an established and engaged portfolio of active NHS Trust clients, with a view to successfully launching this new SaaS product as an additive to your company’s existing client relationships and service agreements.
Working with your colleagues who will introduce your services and arrange first meetings on your behalf, you will then develop collaborative and consultative relationships across NHS Trusts around the country both face to face and online as required. With the ability to build strong relationships from Executive to middle management level, you will have the ability to analyse the needs of those you are selling to based on your experience of working with NHS Trusts, and Patient Administration Systems, being able to identify and suggest opportunities to embed solutions. As Business Development Manager, you will have the focussed start-up business sales drive and energy combined with the ability to leverage introductions from an established network of contacts.
Presenting at and attending industry events, you will feedback market and competitor intelligence into the marketing team for future campaigns and positioning and inform the commercial teams for further opportunities, as you gain a full understanding of this software product through building strong relationship with your partner business.
You will have outstanding presentation and communication skills with a consultative, solution driven approach. Regularly acting as an ambassador on behalf of the company, you be strategically minded and have gravitas for developing partnerships at senior stakeholder level. Professional in all you do, you will be a successful sales professional with experience of creating partnerships in the NHS – ideally with a technology based product – and be comfortable working in a pressurised, target driven environment. You must excel at working remotely and hitting set targets with no supervision.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within sales or new business development, whilst being able to display an exceptional track record of selling similar products within an NHS environment. This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic consultancy committed to outstanding customer service, therefore strong relationship management skills will be crucial to your success, as well as a proactive approach to self-learning. Alongside this a great attitude, a desire to work hard and grow with a fast-paced business is absolutely crucial. This role is home based, with travel across the UK, which means a full driving license and your own car will be necessary.
